OK - I'll be brief, 'cuz I'm done in. Sooooo tired right now.
All went well at my ultrasound appointment today - still the same 6 on my left side. Let's hope that is the magic number. The labwork came back with a nice increase in my estrodiol again, and so the doctor said tonight's the night to give my eggies the "all-clear" signal to do their last sprint to the finish line!
My darling husband gave me my "trigger shot" of HCG tonight and he did a great job. I'm not sure I'd be so adept with that big 'ole needle, but he handled it like a pro. The stress of anticipating it, however, was enough to make me feel faint. I'm so wiped.
So, that means that my egg retrieval is set for Tuesday morning, bright and early at 7:30am. No food or water after midnight tomorrow night, so I am going to be crabby that morning, but then I get lots of drugs for my trouble.
That's all for now. I'm going to spend the day tomorrow relaxing and getting myself ready for the procedure.
